Love this idea of using the Regents Canal in London as a swimming commuter route. It's been dubbed the Lido-Line.
A proposal by Y/N Studio would mean commuters could swim from Little Venice to Limehouse. Swimmers would be separated from boats by a basin inserted into the canal. There would be changing stations along the way. The plans even suggest disco lights when the canal goes into a tunnel under Angel, Islington.

Could we do the same on the Basingstoke Canal? Fancy a swim from St Johns or Brookwood to Woking town centre or a quick splash from Sheerwater? As well as Cycle Woking we could have Swim Woking or should it be Splash Woking.
